Welcome to DonorsGift Crowdfunding Platform (www.donorsgift.com)
These Terms of Use govern your use of our website. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1a. User Accounts
To use certain features of our website, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
1b. Multiple User Accounts
While we do not put a restriction on the number of campaigns a user can create, multiple accounts per user are not permitted. If a user is discovered to hold multiple accounts on DonorsGift, the user will have the accounts suspended or blocked and may lose their existing donations.
1c. KYC Account Verification for Creators
Every campaign creator will be required to submit KYC ID documents and pass verification before their donation withdrawal request can be approved and therefore processed. This step is required by law and therefore applies to donation withdrawals. Donors are not required to go through this step.
1d. Age Limitations
For campaign creation, DonorsGift is not open to children and young peole under the legal age of 18, as applicable in law in most countries. Minors who have needs to create campaigns will need to get their parents or qualified trusted adults to do so on their behalf.
Under certain conditions, however, and based on the country of origin the campaign creator(s), teeneagers who are atleast 16 years old may be considered if their country of origin legally considers them as adults.
2a. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or infringing on the rights of others. This includes, but is not limited to:
(I) Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive activities or intents
(ii) Harassing, threatening, or defaming others
(iii) Uploading or sharing illegal or harmful content
(iv) Uploading or using copyrighted materials and media in your campaigns such as logos, artwork, songs, video text etc.
2b. Use of DonorsGift crowdfunding platform, services or resources for the purposes of promoting hate, violence, terrorism funding, illegal trading in arms and armunition, fmoney laundering and similar finacial crimes shall not be tolerated in any way by any user, campaign creator and even donors.
3. Donations
All donations made through our website are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise specified by the project creator. We are not responsible for the use of funds by project creators. However, DonorGift reserves the right to determine the need to refund donors expressly, if the campaign creator has been discovered to have created the campaign under false identities, fraudulent pretenses or other forbidden practises on this website.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on our website's core engine, including text, graphics, and logos, are the property of DonorsGift and/or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. However, images, videos, texts, logos and all other media related to indiidual campaigns are subject to vetting for copyright violations by the campaign creator(s). Any creator found in violation of copyright laws shall have their campaign pulled down immediately and may also face legal punishments as described by the appropriate existing laws and authorities.
5. Limitation of Liability
DonorsGift will not be held iable for any damages arising from your use of our website. This includes, but is not limited to, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our website at any time, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these terms.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on our website.
